Who operates CAIBI
CAIBI is operated by KADOH LTD, company number 14751469. Our registered office is 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ. For privacy enquiries, email adrian@caibi.app.
Contributions and contact
CAIBI uses the information you submit to investigate sources, review evidence and respond to messages. Email addresses are kept out of public builder reports. A display name, review and approved photos may be published when you contribute builder or equipment evidence.
Contact messages, project suggestions and builder evidence are stored privately using Supabase. Submissions sent without JavaScript or through the fallback form service are handled by Netlify. These providers also process technical information needed to operate and protect their services.
Email sent directly to adrian@caibi.app is handled through Google Workspace.
Photos
Only upload images you took or have permission to share. Remove location metadata and avoid faces, addresses, serial numbers or other personal details that are not needed as evidence. Evidence uploads stay private until reviewed and cleared for publication.
Site preferences and measurement
Your browser stores your chosen colour scheme and GBP/USD preference. These preferences are not a CAIBI account. Build notes are saved in this browser only when you choose Save. They are not sent to CAIBI, are not encrypted, and can be removed using Clear notes. Downloaded copies remain on your device until you delete them.
Optional visitor analytics is not enabled. Hosting providers may retain technical access and security logs.
The contribution service uses a keyed hash of the connection address to limit repeated submissions. It does not publish that value.
How long we keep information
Our retention policy applies to the information we hold in our active systems:
- Routine enquiries: delete 12 months after the enquiry is closed.
- Rejected submissions and their unpublished photos: delete 90 days after rejection.
- Pending submissions: review within 90 days of receipt. If a submission needs to remain pending, record why it is still needed and set the next review date.
- Published contributions: retain while relevant, subject to correction, withdrawal and deletion requests.
Retention is reviewed manually. These periods do not mean that an automatic deletion service is running. Copies in provider backups and technical logs have separate lifecycles; we do not promise immediate removal from those systems.
Corrections, withdrawal and deletion
Email adrian@caibi.app or contact CAIBI to ask about your submission, correct personal information or request withdrawal. Include the relevant page or submission details. Do not send passwords or sensitive documents.
Public catalogue snapshots can be copied and retained by others. CAIBI can correct its own published records, but cannot remove copies held by third parties.
